A Claimed iPhone 12 Logic Board Has Appeared In Photos For The First Time

A photo of what is thought to be an iPhone 12 or iPhone 12 Pro logic board has appeared online, and has been claimed to be so by anonymous Twitter account, L0vetodream. It’s not known for sure what this board is for though.

While it’s impossible to know right now what this thing is, it’s worth noting that it does appear to be longer than anything that currently makes its way into an iPhone.

The text on the board suggests that it was built in October of last year, though. That would suggest that it’s quite likely not a final design, too.

Whether this is actually a part from one of the 2020 iPhones is anyone’s guess. We’ll likely know for sure once Apple’s new handsets are torn down after their release. That isn’t going to be for at least four months and, if you listen to the rumors, it could be even longer.

Apple is expected to announce an iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Max, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max whenever the event does happen.

Normally it would take place in September, but the consensus right now is that Apple has decided to push everything to October thanks due to the coronavirus pandemic. Apple hasn’t been able to go through its usual prototyping process due to travel and other restrictions.
