Just as the rumors predicted, Apple’s iOS 27 includes support for a new feature that will allow users to create their own passes inside the Wallet app.
Called “Create a Pass,” the new option lets iPhone owners add their own tickets, passes, and memberships to the Apple Wallet app by using Visual Intelligence. The feature is specifically for cards and passes that do not have digital versions already available for the Wallet app.

The new feature uses Visual Intelligence to scan your existing pass and then add it to the Wallet app.
But there is also the option to go the manual route, creating either Standard, Membership, or Event passes by entering the details required, MacRumors reports.
Each type includes relevant information like name, location, or admission type, along with a scannable code drawn from an included barcode or QR code that you take a photo of. There are 12 background colors to choose from, or seven custom backgrounds for categories like theater, music, sports, and movies.

This new feature will be part of iOS 27 when it is released to the public this fall. The update is currently in the hands of developers as a first beta release. A public beta is expected to be made available next month, but Apple has yet to confirm exactly which date.
