If you’re looking to jailbreak iOS 26.1 on your iPhone but are confused on where to look, you have come to the right place. But the news might not be what you’d been hoping for.
It’s important to know that currently there’s no jailbreak available for any iPhone model on any version of iOS 26.

In fact, the last known jailbreak released for latest version of iOS at the time was back in 2019. This was checkra1n which was released for iOS 12 running devices.
Since that jailbreak was released, the jailbreak scene has been a surprisingly quiet one. The lack of news about new jailbreaks has been stark, especially for the recently-released iPhone Air and iPhone 17 devices. Although that could change at any moment.
There are a couple of reasons for slower jailbreak development in recent years. The first is that there is less reason to jailbreak than ever before. Apple has added all of the most popular reasons that people jailbroke their devices to iOS as standard. Notifications and multitasking were two examples, as was more Home Screen customization.

The second reason is that Apple pays substantial fees to people who tell it about security floors in its software and hardware these days. That means that people who do find ways to jailbreak iPhones are more likely to cash in than release them to the public.
All of this means that there is no way to jailbreak iOS 26.1 right now, but we’ll keep you posted if that changes in the near future.
