Finally! TaiG version 2.1.2 iOS 8.3 jailbreak is released, bringing in fixes for various bugs and support for Cydia Substrate. This version 2.1.2 is an official release, unlike 2.1.0 and 2.1.1, and is available for Windows only.

With TaiG 2.1.2, you are no longer required to use older version of iTunes as it will now work with latest version. It also adds fix for getting stuck at 20% and 60% issue. For those of you who have an Apple Watch, this new version adds fix for pairing issue too which we highlighted in our TaiG troubleshooting guide earlier.


Here’s the full official changelog:

Fixes problems of getting stuck at 20% and 60%, and adaptate for latest iTunes.

Compatible with Cydia Substrate (Mobile Substrate).

Corrects the blank Settings problem while matching Apple Watch with iDevice.

Fix issues of UIcache.

Since the instructions to jailbreak iOS 8.3 using TaiG 2.1.2 are exactly similar to 2.0’s, simply follow our detailed guides posted here, using version 2.1.2 tool. All iOS devices capable of running iOS 8.3, 8.2 and 8.1.3 are supported.

Those of you already jailbroken using TaiG 2.0/2.1.0/2.1.1 no need to re-jailbreak as they can update to latest TaiG 8.1.3-8.x Untether version 2.1.2 package from Cydia either through TaiG’s official repository or from Cydia’s default Telesphoreo repo.
