Apple Store in the US has just been updated to include the new iPad, both the Wi-Fi only version, and Wi-Fi + 3G version for pre-order starting from today. The Wi-Fi only model comes in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB versions and are available for $499, $599 and $699 respectively. It will ship on 3rd April for free. The Wi-Fi + 3G version of iPad also comes in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB versions and can be bought for $629, $729 and $829 respectively. The Wi-Fi + 3G version however wont ship before late April 2010.

According to the reliable sources at AppleInsider, folks in Cupertino are preparing to finally bring multitasking support in the next version 4.0 of iPhone OS. The guy behind Cydia, Jay Freeman (aka Saurik) has released an APT update which has significantly improved the rather slow, and painful loading times in Cydia. Cache Generator has also been optimized so that Cydia doesn’t take an hour reloading. This new update is said to drop the loading times from 22 seconds to just 2.2 seconds (tested on iPhone 3GS), 10x improvement.

Apple has made it official! WiFi models of iPad are coming to US on 3rd April, and you will be able to pre-order it starting from March 12th. The 3G models of iPad however wont be available anytime before late April or May. WiFi model will be starting for as low as $499 for the 16GB version, while the WiFi + 3G model will cost $629 for the 16GB version.

Paid apps in Android Market are currently limited to selected countries like US. If you happen to be outside US, you are left out by Google which at the time only allows users from US and UK to access the paid app store.
