If you’ve ever wanted to see some of the world’s most beautiful places but haven’t been able to visit them yourself for whatever reason, then you’re going to like the idea behind AirPano Travel Book. Perfect for those of us that don’t travel because we don’t like flying or simply can’t get the time away from work, the app offers spherical photo panoramas of some of the planet’s most gorgeous places.

AirPano Travel Book is a collection of unique spherical photo panoramas of the most amazing places in the world with a bird’s eye view. The aerial panorama technology allows viewers to soar in the sky above Niagara Falls, the famous Taj Mahal, nightlife in Las Vegas, and the fantastic beaches of Dominican Republic.

If that sounds like something you might like then you’ll be pleased to know that you can now download the AirPano Travel Book app for free via the Apple Store app on iOS, after Apple started discounting it for a limited time. The app usually costs around $2.99 but has been known to cost as much as $4.99, so the fact that this is now free is even more of a bargain than you might have first thought!

If you want to get yourself a free copy of AirPano Travel Book, this is what you need to do:

Step 1: Download the Apple Store app and launch it on your device.

Step 2: Scroll down the main ‘Featured’ page until you see a banner that mentions AirPano Travel Book. You can’t miss it.

Step 3: Tap the banner and then the “Download now for free” green button at the bottom of the screen that follows.

Step 4: Check out the app once it’s downloaded!

The app ranked at the top of the Travel category around the time of its release and even made it into Apple’s ‘Best of 2014’ roundup, so you might want to check it out even if you aren’t that big of a fan of 360-degree panoramas and virtual tours. Everyone loves free apps, right?
