The iPhone 4S is selling like hotcakes worldwide, and new iPhone owners are picking up their first entry into the iOS ecosystem all the time. We get plenty of requests for app recommendations here at Redmond Pie, and with Christmas around the corner I thought I would put together a short list showcasing my favorite, or must-have apps for the iPhone.
A few days ago, we talked about a new Cydia tweak called Siri0us which allowed folks with older iOS devices such as iPhone 3GS, 4 and iPod touch 4G to use Siri Dictation. Well, now we’ve received news of an all-new Siri tweak called H1Siri which claims full Siri functionality on iPhone 4 and iPod touch 4. Details after the jump!
Well well well, what do we have here! Samsung’s flagship super-phone – the Galaxy S II – has beaten the super-popular iPhone 4S for a Best Phone of the Year award. Details after the jump!
Looks like we can add Robin Williams to the list of people who are in love with Siri. Apple has included the assistant in every iPhone 4S. With reports of Siri being somewhat cruel (just kidding) to some, it’s nice to see the application in a lighthearted way.

When Siri was introduced just last month, it didn’t take long for developers to tinker with the software and find innovating ways of using the feature.
Today has been a crazy sort of day when it comes to news from the jailbreaking community. First we saw Chronic Dev-Team (CDT) - the folks behind GreenPois0n jailbreaking tool for iOS 4.2.1 - releasing a new tool called C-Dev Crash Reporter which allows jailbreaking enthusiasts to send crash report data to CDT (instead of Apple) so they could find exploits, then we saw an all-new jailbreaking tool for iOS 5 / 5.0.1 called Ac1dSn0w released, and now we have received news regarding iPhone 4S unlock.
