We're now just a few short days away from getting our hands on Apple's latest smartphone, and iPhone 4S hysteria is reaching fever pitch!
It's the knock-out feature of the iPhone 4S, and it's set to get tongues wagging around the globe on Friday 14th, but so far little is really known about just how well Siri will work in the real world.
According to benchmark results posted earlier today, the iPhone 4S is the fastest smartphone - both in general and graphical performance - in the world, beating superphones like Samsung Galaxy S II and Motorola Droid Bionic.
Word on the Internet super-highway is that Apple neglected to raise the amount of memory in the upcoming iPhone 4S. What that means is, the visually-untouched, internally updated iPhone 4S will only come with 512MB of memory.
Most Successful iPhone Launch Ever: iPhone 4S Was Pre-Ordered Over a Million Times In First 24 Hours
According to a press release posted just a few minutes ago, the iPhone 4S is Apple’s most successful iPhone launch ever as over 1,000,000 units of the upcoming smartphone were pre-ordered in the first 24 hours alone.
According to press statement from AT&T released earlier today, the iPhone 4S has seen more than 200,000 preorders within the first 12 hours of pre-orders going live. The news is accompanied by Apple officially selling out all pre-orders of the iPhone 4S.
If you're one of the many that have spent all morning sat hitting the refresh key in a pre-ordering frenzy, chances are you spied one seemingly glaring omission from Apple's online ordering system: there were no unlocked iPhone 4S handsets, at least in the U.S.
Apple has begun taking pre-orders for the iPhone 4S, The news comes directly from Apple’s official website where the pre-order forms just went live.
During Apple's iPhone event, possibly the most awe-inspiring demonstration was that of the new Siri feature which is built into iOS 5 and the iPhone 4S. Siri's features, which offer users the ability to almost have a conversation with the iPhone 4S, will be exclusive to Apple's new smartphone, with all current hardware left out in the cold.
Well, it's all go in the patent world again, with Samsung already throwing the toys out of the pram. The Korean giant is attempting to block sales of Apple's (very) recently announced iPhone 4S in both France and Italy.
