One thing about Apple is they like to stick to release cycles, and one of those release cycles tells us that iMac is getting ready for an update. According to CNET’s Brian Tong, it could be sooner rather than later.
The year 2010 is now coming to a close. Since I got to play with many different gadgets, I thought it will be nice if I summarized a list of my personal favorites from the year 2010.
Today is Black Friday, the day which marks the beginning of the 2010 holiday shopping season. All major online retailers like Apple, Microsoft, MacConnection, Walmart and Best Buy stores have great offers which you can take advantage of from their online sites, without having to actually go and get in line just to get the discount you are looking for.

Well it looks like Steve Jobs and Co are in full mood to build their next-gen hardware using Liquidmetal Technologies, a California based company from which they recently acquired exclusive rights to build products made of Liquid Metal alloy.
Apple today has updated their existing iMac lineup by dumping Core 2 Duo altogether and bringing Intel’s Core i3, i5 and i7, along with faster graphics card options. Available in both 21.5 and 27 inches, the prices of both the entry level base model, and the flagship model remains same as the older ones, except that these new ones have more power then ever before.
Here’s some interesting news related to iMac and iOS 4. How many of you thought that iOS 4 is limited to the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad only? We used to think the same, but looks like all that’s going to change. Apple is planning to ship iOS with its next iMac refresh with a touch-screen display.
In year 2008 and 2009, when most of the companies in the world were passing through a state of recession and financial crisis, there were some who went on the offensive and scored big. So this week when Barron released its annual list of the best CEOs in the world, Steve Jobs of Apple returned to the list from last year, joining Jeffrey Bezos of Amazon.com, Warren Buffett of Berkshire Hathaway and Mark Hurd of Hewlett-Packard. When Barron drew up its annual list of the 30 most respected CEOs, it sought to identify executives who kept their companies out of trouble and took advantage of the downturn to expand, make shrewd acquisitions, feast on the problems of competitors, and sailed their respective companies smoothly to high laurels.
In October last year, Apple unveiled its new iMac lineup, which also featured a brilliant 27-inches LED-backlit display model in a new edge-to-edge glass design and seamless all aluminum enclosure. Unfortunately, this pretty beast, which was powered by Core 2 Duo/Core i5/Core i7 had display issues at launch, most notably flickering and yellow screens which was later acknowledged by Apple.
According to sources at AppleInsider, Apple is preparing Mac mini’s for Hi-Definition HDMI output along with a possible Blu-ray drive option; set to release sometime this year. Prototype screens of the new Mac mini has been making rounds which surprisingly sports a HDMI connector instead of the traditional DVI-connector found on the current models of the mini’s.
Wow! I didn't saw this coming from Apple!. According to the latest reports from Chinese Commercial Times, Apple is planning to launch 22-inches capacitive touchscreen iMac’s sometime this year. We all know that HP already has all-in-one TouchSmart PCs for a while now, with multitouch capable capacitive screens, and an OS like Windows 7 which fully supports those gestures.
