Pixelmator Pro 3.2 Now Edits Videos As Well As Photos

Pixelmator Pro, the popular image editing app for the Mac, now also edits videos for the first time.

The updated version Pixelmator Pro, which can now be downloaded from the Mac App Store, allows users to make fairly simple edits to videos including trimming and color adjustments.

There is also support for adding various things to those videos including images, text, and more. All of that can be done without leaving the app, something that wasn’t previously possible.

The new update also adds support for new video and animated image file types including QuickTime Movie and MP4, while the app now also supports additional export file types including GIFs.

As you’d expect, videos can be exported in a range of quality settings. And yes, there’s support for Apple ProRes should you need it.

Pixelmator Pro is already one of the best Mac apps for editing images and this additional support for editing videos really is the icing on the cake.

The updated Pixelmator Pro 3.2 is now available for download and it’s a free update for everyone who already has the app. Those who don’t can get in on the act for just $19.99 which is half the previous asking price of $39.99. That price is for a limited time however, so you’ll want to get your download done soon before that’s gone for good.
