Apple today has released iTunes 9.2 for both Windows and Mac. This release brings support for iPhone 4, iOS 4 (formerly iPhone OS 4) for iPhone and iPod touch, support for organizing iOS 4 folders, faster backups with iOS 4, PDF syncing with iBooks and various other bug fixes.
The response that Apple has got for the new iPhone 4 has far outstretched their supply chain. Apple today has issued a statement in which they have stated that more than 600,000 iPhone 4s have been pre-ordered through Apple and its carrier partners yesterday. According to reps at AT&T, this is ten times as many orders as they took for the iPhone 3GS last year.
It is out now and it is official ! The Mac OS X 10.6.4 Snow Leopard update has been released. It is a very crucial update and it implements hundreds of fixes since the last few updates, 10.6.3(March 2010) and 10.6.2(November 2009). Apple has introduced the new updated Mac mini that has been redesigned in a a big way! With a starting price of $699 for the basic model, you get 2.4GHz Core 2 Duo CPU, 2GB of RAM, and a 320GB hard drive. A big ‘Yay’ for HDMI-out port which is finally included, along with SD card reader, 802.11n wireless adaptor, a Mini Display Port jack, and the new NVIDIA GeForce 320M graphics chip.
Apple Store is back! and guess what? It is now accepting pre-orders for the new iPhone 4. For those of you who want the new full white iPhone 4 are out of luck for now as currently only the black one is available for pre-order.
The developers behind Infiniboard, Infinidock, ProSwitcher and the UI designer of Spirit untethered jailbreak tool for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch has just released the alpha version of ProSwitcher app for iPad. ProSwitcher for iPad enables switching between applications (multitasking) running in background in a beautiful Palm Pre style card view mode. It basically act as a graphical extension to the already popular app from Cydia called Backgrounder to present all opened apps in a tabbed view, similar to the view seen on Mobile Safari browser.

In case you were wondering, iPhone 4 apps will run nearly in full screen on the iPad as opposed to the current iPhone apps which looks horrid at best on the large screen of iPad. This confirmation comes from the developers of “Make Coffee” app for iPhone who found out when they tried the new version of the app (optimized for higher resolution screen of iPhone 4) on the iPad.
Mark Zuckerberg, the Founder and CEO of Facebook is not at all pleased by his brand new iPhone (not iPhone 4) which he only got last week. He posted about his frustrations with the device on his Facebook wall that within a week of getting the device, he has already got himself a bunch of chargers and a landline to move his Apple device from one place to other, and to actually make phone calls. Yes, he was clearly complaining about the battery life and phone calling quality.
