Traditional pop, rock, alternative, electronica, rap, comedy - a small list of the categories contained within the Grammy Awards, each of which is intended to isolate a specific contribution to music. As far as I can remember Steve Jobs didn't release a rap song and I certainly can't picture him writing traditional pop. So the news that he has posthumously been awarded a Grammy Award, as reported by Mercury News, has come as a bit of a shock.
I take my white iPhone 4 everywhere I go. Usually when it’s within sight of someone I am always asked if it’s the new model: “Is that the 4G or the new 4GS?”, “No,” I reply, “It’s the 4; and the new one is called a 4S.” Smile.
Yes, you read the article title correctly. Rather bizarrely, a company called GRAPHISOFT which is a part of the Munich based Nemetschek Group has commissioned and erected a bronze statue of the late Apple founder Steve Jobs in Budapest. For those who don't know (which I believe may be most of us in this instance) GRAPHISOFT are a developer of virtual building solutions and have operations rooted firmly in the United States, Germany and Japan but also operate throughout the world in smaller often neglected markets.
By nature, I am not a betting man. However, If I was I would be willing to bet that the majority of people reading this would have in no way suspected to see a trailer containing an evil version of Apples new personal assistant Siri. According to a tweet by Google’s Android chief, Andy Rubin, Android is activating over 700,000 Android devices every day. That comes out to about 5 million every week!
We are at a crucial time in the jailbreaking community. I call this the edge of our seats situation where all eyes rest on one person, or one development team waiting for the crucial breakthrough to be made in providing a stable, distributable jailbreak. In October 2010 the communities eyes focused solely on the Chronic Dev Team as they prepared us for the release of the GreenPPois0n tool, then without warning George Hotz (a.k.a. Geohot) pipped them to the post with the last minute release of Limera1n.
It should come as no surprise by now that every time Apple releases a beta version of an OS, regardless of whether it is OS X or iOS, the researchers and explorers always seem to find some hidden away nuggets of information which points to the future implementation of new features or even reveals the possibility of new hardware. With the recent seeding of OS X 10.7.3 beta, MacRumors have continued their pursuit of finding all relevant information relating to the future possibilities of a Retina Display on the new range of Macs.
