If there's one rumor that just won't go away, especially when there is talk of a new iPhone being on the cards, it's the suggestion that Apple is all set to bring a new, larger screened device to market. The release of the iPhone 5 was the first time those rumors were actually right, but with some claiming a yet larger device is on the horizon, could Apple be about to take Samsung on at its own game?

Google Glass may only be in the hands of developers, creative individuals and one or two competition winners, but that hasn't prevented the world of tech from getting itself excited about the search giant's wearable tech. Last month, we saw one such creative, Adam Bell, had managed to route iOS notifications through to Glass using a contraption he'd thrown together, and now, a tweak has emerged offering a simpler way for such a process to be achieved. As we heard a couple of days back and thus, expected Facebook to announce at its next "big idea" event today, the social network has stepped out and confirmed that Instagram will indeed be bringing Vine-like video support, meaning users will be able to record and keep short, memorable clips alongside their snaps. The announcement could well spell the beginning of the end for a Vine app that has been making reasonable headway in recent times, while also helping to expand and broaden Instagram's already seemingly insatiable appeal.
Of all the uses a smartphone can bring to the table, universal remote facilities are utilized by many a consumer.
