Enable iOS 7 Apple Maps Turn-by-Turn Navigation In Unsupported Countries

Ben Reid·January 1, 2014
Apple's Maps app is still very much in the process of recovering from its disastrous launch alongside iOS 6 late in 2012, and although it's still quite a way off Google Maps in almost every sense, things have certainly improved during the past fifteen or so months. One of the marquee features of Maps since its inception has been the turn-by-turn navigation, but it's not available to every user. Certain locations don't yet have support for turn-by-turn, but a new tweak available in Cydia will unlock said feature if you are jailbroken.

Snapchat Database Compromised, Over 4.6 Million Account Details Leaked

Paul Morris·January 1, 2014
It's never great to start off the beginning of a new year shrouded in controversy and having to deal with a public relations nightmare, but that's exactly the position which Snapchat finds itself in. The company behind the photo messaging app has confirmed that the app’s user database has indeed been comprised. The news itself is quite daunting, but the situation is further compounded by the fact that the details of more than 4.6 million accounts have been posted online by those who compromised the company's infrastructure.

Nintendo Wii U GamePad Modded To Play PC Games, And It’s Cool! [VIDEO]

Oliver Haslam·January 1, 2014
Nintendo's Wii was a roaring success, at least for the first few years of its life. Sell-outs the world over and an ability to draw so-called non-gamers into a market that was previously dominated by hardcore fans had Nintendo's coffers overflowing. When it came time to put the Wii out to pasture and replace it with something a little more modern, the Wii U was created.

Apple Denies All iPhone NSA Backdoor Allegations In Official Statement

Ben Reid·January 1, 2014
It has long since been common knowledge that certain government agencies use a number of digital spying tactics to keep tabs on certain activity. Only recently, details have begun to emerge of just how much intel the NSA has been collecting, to the point where it seems as though there's very little that anybody can do digitally without the NSA brown-nosing. With some products having leaked info to the NSA without the knowledge of the user, Apple has taken the opportunity to distance itself from such behavior in stating that it has "never worked with the NSA to create a backdoor in any products."

Watch: The Future According To Samsung [VIDEO]

Ben Reid·December 31, 2013
Samsung Display has released a video demonstrating a rather idealistic take on the future of tech, and sees its panels delving much deeper into consumer and enterprise markets than currently seen. The clip, which was a part of the company’s analyst day back in November and has since just leaked into the wild, once again outlines Samsung's admirable ambition, but despite this, could we really envision a world where almost everything on view - from floors to coffee cups - sports some description of integrated Samsung display? It should come as very little surprise that Samsung Display not only believes this to be possible, but sees this as a natural progression in years to come.

MyWi 7.0 For iOS 7 Released: Features All New Design, 5GHz WiFi Tethering And More

Oliver Haslam·December 31, 2013
If there's one developer that's synonymous with jailbreaking, it has to be Intelliborn. Around since the early days of jailbreaking, Intelliborn is who we should thank for some of the best jailbreak tweaks around, and certainly some of the tweaks that we install as soon as we jailbreak a new iPhone or iPad.
