Latest iOS 17 Beta Can Now Save Full-Screen Screenshot As An Image, Adds Dual-SIM Improvements

Apple recently made the first public beta of iOS 17 available for download and we’re starting to learn of some of the new changes that are now available in this release.

The improvements are also available in the third iOS 17 developer beta which is also now available for download and include the ability to save a full-screen screenshot to the Photos app for the first time as reported by MacRumors.

Users have long been able to save a PDF version of a full-screen screenshot, but this is the first time that the option to save to the Photos app has been offered.

TechCrunch also reported on a handful of other improvements including one related to iPhones that have two SIM cards provisioned. These dual-SIM iPhones can now sort messages based on the SIM card as well as configure separate ring tones per phone number. The ability to choose a SIM when calling back an unknown number has also been added.

Apple isn’t expected to make the iOS 17 update available to the public until this September, with months of betas set to arrive on a weekly basis between now and then.

Apple is also working on new iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, and Apple TV software updates that are likely to go public around the same time. They too have public and developer beta programs currently underway.
