Is This What iPhone 17 Air Looks Like?

Prominent leaker Majin Bu has just shared a blurry image that could show a part of the rumored ultra-thin iPhone 17 Air.

The photo reveals two iPhone shells with a pill-shaped camera bar at the top. The left side of the bar has a circular cutout, likely for a single camera, while the right side seems to hold an LED flash and a tiny microphone hole. Since the iPhone 17 Air is expected to have just one rear camera, this could be its shell.

While leaks like this can be exciting, it’s hard to know if they’re real. Sometimes they’re accurate, but other times they’re fake. It’s good to stay skeptical. Majin Bu has been right before, like when he leaked the “Desert Titanium” color for the iPhone 16 Pro. But he’s also gotten things wrong, so take this with a grain of salt.

The iPhone 17 Air is rumored to be Apple’s thinnest phone ever, measuring just 5.5mm at its slimmest point (excluding the camera bump). Its ultra-thin design comes with trade-offs, like a single rear camera, no SIM card slot, a smaller battery, and the less powerful A19 chip instead of the A19 Pro.

Other features could include a 6.6-inch OLED display, Dynamic Island, Face ID, and 8GB of RAM.

Apple might announce the iPhone 17 lineup, including the Air, Pro, and Pro Max, in September. Similar camera bar designs are already seen in phones like Google’s Pixel.
