Checkra1n 0.10.2 iOS 13.5 Jailbreak Update Now Available To Download

Checkra1n 0.10.2 iOS 13.5 jailbreak update is now available to download for compatible iPhone and iPad devices. Here are the details on it.

While all the talk in the jailbreak world has been about the release of unc0ver 5.0.0, we all forgot about checkra1n. Turns out that was a mistake, with the jailbreak tool launching as a newly updated version 0.10.2, adding support for iOS 13.5. That means jailbreakers now have two options when jailbreaking their iPhones and, of course, iPads.

The updated version of checkra1n is available for download right now with the aforementioned support for iOS and iPad OS 13.5, but that isn’t all. The team behind the jailbreak also added that there are a few bug fixes rolled into this update as well.

Bug fixes

– iOS/iPadOS 13.5 support.
– Fix multiple issues with kernel patches that caused devices to not boot, most notably iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 4.
– Fix bootstrap upload not working if the device is locked.

Unfortunately checkra1n is only available for macOS and Linux users right now with no indication as to when – or if – a Windows version will be available at a later date.

Existing users of the checkra1n jailbreak are advised to download and the updated version of follow the process again, allowing them to take advantage of the new changes and fixes added as part of this update. That update can be downloaded for free from the official checkra1n website here checkra.in.
