PwnageTool bundle for iPod touch 4G on iOS 4.2.1 GM has just been released. You can use this bundle with existing version of PwnageTool to create custom firmware file which is jailbroken on the newly released iOS 4.2.1.
After releasing a revised version of iOS 4.2 GM for iPad to developers last week, Apple has now seeded iOS 4.2.1 GM for iPhones, iPad and iPod touches. This build is meant for developers only. Only members enrolled in the iPhone Developer Standard or Enterprise Program can access these bits of by signing into Apple Developer Connection.
HDR Photography option is an iPhone 4 exclusive feature in iOS 4.1. Previously we showed you how you can enable HDR photos on a jailbroken iPhone 3GS running iOS 4.1. Thanks to the recently released Limera1n and GreenPois0n iOS jailbreak tools, you can now enable the HDR option even on an jailbroken iPod touch 4G running iOS 4.1.
Limera1n has been unleashed to the world! It can jailbreak pretty much all the current iOS devices running iOS 4.1. This includes iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPad and iPod touch 4G / 3G.
The iPhone Dev-Team has finally shown off a video demo of iOS 4.1 jailbreak on the newly released iPod touch 4G by loading SHAtter exploit in PwnageTool (video after the break). This test version of PwnageTool however is currently for internal testing only. But it will be released later for iPhone 4 users so that they can preserve their old baseband in future for carrier unlock by restoring to the custom firmware file.
Sn0wbreeze 2.0 was released earlier today. It brings support for a bunch of devices running on iOS 4.1. Like PwnageTool for Mac, you can use Sn0wbreeze 2.0 on Windows to build custom firmware files without upgrading the baseband.
