It is fast approaching that time of year again where we start anticipating the launch of the next generation iPad device. March 2011 saw consumers once again going crazy for the iPad 2, queuing up outside stores in an attempt to get their hands on the year’s must-have gadget.
With the constant speculation surrounding the next generations of the iPad and iPhone, the iPod range of devices sometimes get overlooked. The iPod touch specification generally follows along the approximate lines of the newest generation iPhone when it comes to display and internal camera but the iPod nano is entirely different.

Considering that Johnson is credited in part with bringing huge success to Apple Retail Stores, and pioneering the Genius Bar concept, it was always going to be a difficult journey attempting to find a suitable and worthy replacement.
Every so often an application comes along and drops into the App Store which catches our eye for one reason or another. It could be for a number of reasons, sometimes the app is unique and the first of its kind, sometimes it contains a beautiful user interface and sometimes it's just because it is plain cheeky.
Up until his recent return to the jailbreak scene, you had to go back to August 2010 to see any sign of public activity from legendary coder PlanetBeing. With French security researcher Pod2g having some issues with Apples sandbox, PlanetBeing stepped in to become a part of the jailbreak Dream Team, and in doing so brought himself back into the public eye and out of the wilderness.
Google Maps and iOS devices have gone hand in hand ever since the original iPhone's release back in 2007, and Apple recently signed a new deal extension with the search giant, giving iOS further access to Google's Maps data.
Despite Apple maintaining a closed-source stance with its iOS mobile software, jailbreaks from the various dev-teams have allowed an abundance of useful, unregulated apps to be installed onto our beloved iDevices.
