Yes you read that right ! An Italian site contacted Comex of Spirit and JailbreakMe fame to ask him about whether or not he is going to release his untethered jailbreak tool for iOS 4.2.1. Comex’s reply was swift and simple, à la Steve Jobs. He is going to wait for Apple to release the next firmware update to public before releasing his tool.

An alarm clock bug present in iOS 4.2.1 (and earlier versions) on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch will cause major punctuality issues on the New Year’s day morning. This will happen when the clock strikes midnight, one off alarms will cease to sing out.

The iPhone developer and hacker iH8sn0w has just teased a screenshot of Sn0wbreeze 2.2 with a new “Baseband Preservation Mode”. This new mode will enable current iPhone 4, 3GS and 3G users to preserve their baseband while upgrading to iOS 4.2.1 so that they can unlock using existing version of Ultrasn0w.
