UK retailer Omio.com has published its list of “Top 10 Phones of 2009” in which HTC HD2 was unanimously chosen over Apple’s iPhone 3GS. This list was probably created on more day to day sales, and in demand basis of cell phones at the said retailer. The Android based HTC Hero grabbed the first spot, followed by HTC HD2 in second position and iPhone 3GS in third.

It looks like the rumors that were leaked earlier regarding a Google branded Chrome OS netbook were indeed true. Google is planning to release atleast two sub $300 netbooks that will be powered by Chrome OS. These machines will sport 10.1 inches screen and will be powered by NVIDIA Tegra 2 platform. They’ll also feature 64 GB SSD, 2GB RAM, webcam, USB ports, GPS, WiFi, 3G and Bluetooth connectivity to go with it. Multitouch screens with GPS are also planned for high end models.
Two new Windows Mobile 6.5.3 ROMs for HTC HD2 has been released which features the new HTC Sense version 2.5.19222911.0. This version of HTC Sense supports the new Documents Tab and Landscape mode for Sense interface. It is based on ROM version 2.01 for T-Mobile US HTC HD2 which was leaked last week.
