Its finally here! Skype app for iPhone and iPod touch has finally been updated to support the new multitasking feature in iOS 4. With this new feature, you can now receive calls and instant messages with the app minimized in the multitasking tray.

The founder and CEO of Facebook Mark Zuckerberg has made it official !! As of today morning, the largest social networking site is now 500 million members strong and growing.
We all know why Geohot left the whole jailbreak scene. He has already deleted his Twitter account, and his blog is set to invite-only viewing only. However before deleting his Twitter account, Geohot said to follow his friend Mike Cohen for all the future updates on jailbreak. He also said that “perhaps one of these days i’ll do a more formal goodbye”. And now it looks like he is probably going to make a comeback (perhaps for the last time?) with a new tool to jailbreak all iOS devices once and for all. Last month at E3, Microsoft refreshed its Xbox 360 lineup by releasing the all new super quiet Xbox 360 S. Microsoft’s new and revolutionary Kinect for Xbox 360 controller with free Kinect Adventures game will be available in November for US $149.99, while the Xbox 360 Arcade + Kinect bundle will be available in this holiday season for US $299.99.
Apple today has released iTunes 9.2.1 for both Windows and Mac OS X. This is a minor release which mainly brings stability & performance improvements, along with bug fixes when taking backups and syncing all the iOS based devices. Full change log is as follows.
MuscleNerd of iPhone Dev Team has managed to unlock his iPhone 4 by a different method than the one shown by Planetbeing (of Android port for iPhone fame) last week. Apparently, there are three methods by which iPhone 4 baseband can be unlocked. The first one was used by Planetbeing and was demonstrated last week. You can use any SIM card you like ! iPhone 4 users though will have to cut SIM to micro-SIM card size before using it.

This is by the same developer who is behind other popular iPhone jailbreak tools such as sn0wbreeze 1.6 and 1.7 for iOS 4, sn0wbreeze for iPhone 3.1.3, f0recast and BlackBreeze. Just like the PwnageTool for Mac, Sn0wbreeze 1.8 can jailbreak iPhone 3GS (old bootrom, and already pwned on iOS 4.x), iPod touch 2G (non MC model) and iPod touch 3G on iOS 4.1 Beta. iPhone 3G users will have to jailbreak using Redsn0w, guide for which is posted here.
