It is for one of those awful moments when you drop your iPhone or any other expensive portable consumer electronics item in water and you are then clueless on how to fix it. Since warranties don’t cover water damage, this procedure posted by iFixYouri can come to your rescue big time.

iPhone fanatic and Mac lover !
This is now turning into a norm isn't it? Every time a new iPhone is launched, there are designers who come up with unique designs to decorate these gadgets in their own ways and styles. With the launch of iPhone 4, this tendency has increased manifold. Last year, we saw a 3.2 Million dollars iPhone 3GS Supreme. This year with the arrival of iPhone 4, we saw a Swiss registered company Gresso, offering iPhone 4 with a unique wooden back panel. This back panel was made of 200-year-old African Blackwood and the Apple logo on the back was made with 18 karat Gold. And then finally came the iPhone 4 Diamond Edition. But to get this uniqueness and style, you had to shell out lots of money, from $3,500 to somewhere around $20,000 for the Diamond Edition which is certainly not affordable by any ordinary individual isn't it.
Since jailbreaking has been declared in United States as 100 percent legal, and now that we have the easiest jailbreak to date (JailbreakMe) which is all web-based and doesn’t require any Mac or a PC to run, some users thought why not to give it a go to jailbreak iOS devices in the nearest Apple Store? All for fun of course!
Last month in a special iPhone 4 centric press conference, Steve Jobs defended iPhone 4 antenna issue by comparing it with some of the other popular handsets having the same problem. The key point which Apple wanted everyone to know was that this so called “attenuation” problem is not limited to iPhone 4 only. And so to further highlight this, Apple set up a new webpage on Apple.com which showcased different popular smartphones like Motorola Droid X, Samsung Omnia II, BlackBerry Bold, HTC Droid Eris etc having the same problem.
Motorola has joined Samsung to pour more salt on Apple’s iPhone 4 wounds. In a new Droid X ad which appeared today in the New York Times, Motorola laid the smack-down on both Apple and iPhone 4 by taking on the whole antennagate with its new slogan “No Jacket Required”.
Yesterday, a court in United States ruled jailbreaking and unlocking iPhones as 100 percent legal as long as it does not violate any copyright laws. This decision was a blow for Apple who has always been against jailbreaking of iPhones. When asked about this ruling, Apple at the moment at least has adopted defensive strategy, saying that jailbreaking may have been declared as legal but it will still void your iPhone’s warranty with Apple.
Steve Jobs tried his best to defend iPhone 4 antenna issue in the special press conference which was held on July 15 by comparing it with some of the other popular handsets having the same problem but this apparently hasn’t gone too well with these companies. They believe that Apple in an effort to clear its own mess has dragged others in to the issue unnecessarily. And so as a result, the recent Samsung Galaxy S ad may just be the beginning of yet another anti-Apple advertising campaign.
In Q3 of fiscal year 2010, Apple has reported a record 78 % increase in earnings. Apple, which is the most valuable technology company in the U.S. and the second most valuable U.S. company overall has reported earnings of $3.51 per diluted share which is significantly higher than the $3.11 per share estimates from Wall Street analysts. With these statistics, the company once again has broken its own previous records, this time reporting an extraordinary $15.7 billion in revenue and a net quarterly profit of $3.35 billion.
Chinese are known for cloning popular western products. They have done this to almost all Apple products in the past like iPods, iPhones and iPads. According to Apple, the white iPhone 4 takes ‘a little more time to make’ and is hence not available yet for pre-orders. But now it looks like these Chinese are going to soon beat Apple to market by releasing a iPhone 4 knockoff in white dubbed as 'Ciphone 4'. I wonder if the addition of letter ‘C’ refers to the phone being from ‘China’, or a ‘Clone’ of iPhone 4?.
Earning through paid apps for iPhone developers is not new, but earning $1400 USD in a single day through a free app in App Store is nothing less than hitting the jackpot. Jason Ting, a US based iPhone developer shared data on his revenues made using newly launched Apple iAd program. The data showed that he made $1400 on the first day alone for a iPhone 4 utility app that was approved, and released by Apple only yesterday. More astonishing was the astounding $150 eCPM which he got for his app from iAd program.
