Major Bug In iOS 7.1 Allows iCloud Account To Be Deleted Without Password, Bypassing Activation Lock [VIDEO]

Paul Morris·April 3, 2014
Starting with iOS 7, Apple introduced a new security mechanism into all iOS devices that required a user to disable Find My iPhone before an iCloud account could be deleted or the device could be restored. This, of course, requires access to the password associated with that Apple ID. The system was heralded as a great step forward for Apple, but it seems that it is not completely secure, with the discovery of a bug that allows the whole process to be bypassed. More details and video demo can be found right here.

4.7-inch iPhone 6 Going Into Mass Production In May, 5.5-inch Model Seeing Delays

Paul Morris·April 1, 2014
There's been plenty of conjecture and speculation surrounding Apple's next-generation iPhone over the last few months. We're fast approaching this year's Worldwide Developer Conference, a date which inevitably brings with it intensified scrutiny of the company's future product roadmap as well as a renewed sense of hope that the company will fall back to its traditional June iPhone announcement dates. It looks highly unlikely that we will get an official introduction to the iPhone 6 during WWDC, but if the latest reports are to be believed then we could be set to welcome in a new device with a 4.7-inch screen.

Here’s What A Black MacBook Air Looks Like [Images]

Paul Morris·March 30, 2014
Apple is famed across the land for making beautiful products with a premium look and feel. The iPhone and iPad range are beautifully put together and instantly stand head and shoulders above the competition in that respect. Accessories like the Time Machine, Magic Mouse and Magic Trackpad have clearly had a lot of design research applied to them. Even the Apple TV is beautiful in its own simplistic kind of way. That leads us nicely onto the company's range of Mac computers. The MacBook and iMac are stunning to look at, but what if we had the option to purchase a sleek and mysterious looking black version of the MacBook Air?

All New HTC One 2 Appears In New 14-Minute Long Hands-On Video

Paul Morris·March 24, 2014
Like most companies involved in the ultra competitive smartphone market, HTC would never turn down the opportunity to drum up some consumer interest in a new product pre-launch. And HTC is on the verge of making an official announcement regarding the all new HTC One, or M8 as it is more commonly referred to, but it seems that the cat has been let out of the bag for the second time from another unofficial source. Leaks and product speculation certainly get the tongues wagging of those who may actually be going to purchase the hardware, but we don't know if HTC will be entirely happy about this latest HTC One hands-on video that has emerged.

This Accessory Lets Anyone Use iPhone For Eye Examination

Paul Morris·March 21, 2014
Apple has always been extremely keen to show the world some of the amazing and innovative ways how an iPhone or iPad can be used. The Cupertino based company is rightly proud of the fact that the iPad is used extensively in the education sector by teachers and students. Tim Cook and his marketing team are also willing to wax lyrical about the fact that the likes of NASA and multiple airlines across the world have found a great way to introduce the award-winning tablet into their daily routines. A group of researchers at Stanford University have now created a simple iPhone accessory that thrusts Apple's smartphone into the medical world by allowing almost anyone to get a greater insight into the human eye.

iPhone 6 To Come Packed With Temperature, Pressure And Humidity Sensors, Report Says

Paul Morris·March 18, 2014
Apple's iPhone 6 is highly expected to be an embodiment of the company's future direction, both in form and function. A number of early rumors have already alluded to the fact that the Cupertino company is intending to step away from the 4-inch form factor that has served the iPhone 5, 5s and 5c so well in favor of something a little larger. In addition to that change of physical size, one well-placed analyst is predicting that the iPhone 6 will introduce a number of new internal sensors that could open up the device to a whole host of new possibilities.
