The TaiG iOS 8.1.1 jailbreak tool download has brought a belated Thanksgiving gift to those looking to get Cydia up and running on iOS 8.1.1 or the currently in-beta iOS 8.2, and given that, like Pangu before it, it’s untethered in nature, one can simply follow the steps, apply the jailbreak, and proceed without subsequent interruption. As is the case when any new, untried or unheard tool simply lands right out of the blue, the jailbreak community has taken the past couple of days to digest the news, with trusted jailbreakers having given it the once-over, and with MuscleNerd today declaring TaiG as being safe to use, the games have most definitely begun. Now, TaiG has released a minor update in the form of version 1.0.2, which adds the ability to remove the 3K Assistant that can be optionally installed at the point of jailbreak.

Black Friday was perhaps the pinnacle of Thanksgiving weekend, with eager shoppers quite literally tripping over each other to snag the great deals on offer over the past couple of days. Black Friday has, in recent times, spilled over into what's known as Cyber Monday, an opportunity for online retailers to capitalize on the rush of pre-holiday shoppers, and iOS app devs have joined in the proceedings with a number of price cuts. Here, we have an extensive list of ordinarily paid apps and games gone free for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, so if you're looking to stock up on high quality content, join us after the leap.
Before I dare utter another word, I'd like to make it known that when it comes to the battle of the mobile ecosystems, I'm completely impartial. I love iOS, iPhone, and Apple products in general, but there's something about Android, namely Android smartphones, that always has me flirting with the likes of HTC One, among others. There's no doubt, at least, to my mind, that Tim Cook and his team have pushed a pivotal piece of software in iOS 8, adding a number of features that many have long since pined for, but there are still some features that I really miss whenever I'm using an iPhone.
While sitting online and doing your Black Friday shopping, you miss the animal-like scrums that have ensued across brick-and-mortar retail outlets this morning, and just because you haven't taken to your local Target, Walmart or Best Buy, there's no reason why you cannot still grab some great savings. Only yesterday, we gave you guys a run-down of the best paid iOS apps gone free for Thanksgiving, and whilst many of those deals still stand, we're back with another list of deals for Black Friday. Details, as well as those all-important download links, can be seen after the break.
Many sites are being ground to a near halt as consumers look to score some great deals this Black Friday, and although we've already shown you how to grab hundreds of dollars worth of paid apps gone free, there's arguably an even better deal in the offing for those running iOS. For a limited time, you can snare yourself $100 worth of iTunes Store credit for just $75, and with apps creeping up in price as time progresses, this is one offer worth writing home about.
Here are the best Black Friday 2014 Apple deals on iPhone 6, iPhone 5s, iPad Air, iPad Air 2, iPad mini, iPad mini 2, iPad mini 3, MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, iMac and Mac Pro.
If you're looking to keep track of all the best deals this Black Friday, we've got your back here. In a continuation of our coverage on the numerous deals being offered in the world of tech during the course of the next few days, below you'll find a list of the very best deals pertaining to Microsoft and its product line-up. From Surface tablets to Xbox consoles, there's something for everyone, and with next month's holiday season in mind, now would be a very good time to go ahead and make the purchase.
So, with Thanksgiving now upon us, it's likely that many of you have already spent a great deal on new smartphones, tablets, and of course, food and drink. But app devs are also joining in the shenanigans of today and the rest of the weekend, making huge price cuts that allow app shoppers to snap up some incredible bargains, and having just brought you a long list of paid iOS apps gone free, we're back with another run-down of Android apps to be had at no cost.
As most of you will know, today is Thanksgiving, and with many consumer electronics retailers offering special deals on products ranging from consoles to smartphones, app developers have also followed suit with some fantastic savings. Here, we run through a colossal list of iOS apps - almost 20 in total - that are usually paid but, for a limited time, have gone completely free of charge.
Facebook's Chat Heads feature, which was rolled out to Android and iOS some time ago, has become a staple part of the experience of using Messenger on mobile. Sure, it's much more integrated on Google's platform due to its open-source nature of Android, but nonetheless, Chat Heads is regarded as a seamless addition to the IM app in general. Since its arrival, many developers have sought to offer something similar for other apps, and one jailbreak dev has taken the idea and manipulated it into an all-new multitasking system for iPhone and iPad. It's easily one of the most intuitive and novel tweaks we've seen during these past few months, adding a new dimension to multitasking on iOS, and if you're still dwelling on that fence, this tweak may well sway you into the world of jailbreaking at last.
