If you’re in the market for a new Apple TV or HomePod mini, now might be a good time to keep your powder dry — it’s reported that both devices could be about to get a new refresh.
Rumors about updated HomePods and Apple TV streaming boxes come and go, but this latest report suggests that new models are now closer than ever.

Writing in the weekly Power On newsletter, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reports that both the Apple TV and HomePod mini are in line for updated hardware as soon as November 12.
Gurman believes that there are plans for overnight refreshes at physical Apple Stores on November 11, ahead of the unveiling of the new hardware the following day.
Apple retail stores are preparing for an “overnight” — an occasion when workers make changes after the store’s closing. On the evening of Nov. 11, employees will be tasked with refreshing store displays and product placements for the following day. That kind of event often signals that something new is coming, but given the timing, it’s more likely related to setting up stores for the holiday season.

Gurman reports that inventory of the existing Apple TV 4K and the current HomePod mini is currently restricted, something that usually precedes a hardware update.
It’s thought that the new models will both aim to bring both Siri and Apple Intelligence to the fore, with new features expected to be announced in 2026.
