2019 iPhone XR To Get New Green And Lavender Color Options
A new report is suggesting that Apple’s 2019 iPhone XR model will be offered with two brand new color options.
Supply chain blog Macotakara is reporting that not only will Apple will revamp the device with the new A13 processor, but new green and lavender color options.
Apple initially introduced iPhone XR to the global smartphone market in September 2018 as a cheaper alternative to iPhone XS/Max. That device offered impressive performance and was also offered in an array of external color options but packed an LCD panel rather than the more expensive OLED option.
Recently, it has been suggested that Apple will revamp iPhone XR later this year with its brand new A13 processor – which, incidentally is the same processor which will power iPhone 11 – but it’s now being suggested that two colors will be deprecated and two new colors will take their place:
According to the reliable information sources, the iPhone 6.1 LCD 2019 model will be 6 colours, which is Green and Lavender colour instead of Coral and Blue, in addition to the current 4 colors, White, Black, Yellow and (PRODUCT)RED.
The existing White, Black, Yellow, and stunning (PRODUCT)RED options will still be on the table with the Coral and Blue offerings being replaced with the brand new colors. Apple hasn’t confirmed nor denied this but, if accurate, it’s reasonable to assume that those deprecated colors haven’t been as commercially successful as the Cupertino-based business would have liked. By changing the colors and offering different variations, Apple will be hoping that sales will be boosted.
If the speculation in the public domain proves to be accurate, then it looks as though Apple could have an extremely popular device on its hands with the revamped iPhone XR.
In addition to the new color options, the device is said to feature the company’s brand new A13 processor as well as a rear-mounted dual-lens camera system that will take the mobile photography experience to the next level. Apple’s iPhone 11 is expected to go a few steps further, with a triple-lens camera system, two-way wireless charging, and a larger battery designed to keep users using for a lot longer.
More concrete information will be available on both of these devices as the year progresses.
