It’s that time of the week yet again when Apple throws another paid iOS app our way absolutely free of cost thanks to the company’s Free App of the Week initiative. This particular offering usually retails for $1.99 on the App Store, but can be downloaded for free right now on the iPhone or iPad till Thursday.
Called Perchang, this puzzle platformer has never had its price tag been reduced to zero until today. The concept lays in you interacting with the environment to help some tiny balls reach their goal, but of course the developers wouldn’t let that be as simple a task as it sounds.
As part of the game, you will have to “Activate flippers, magnets, portals, fans, anti-gravity hoops and many more gizmos to complete each mind bending stage.” Sure you think that’s manageable as well, but “Don’t take too long though…. You’re on the clock!”
While Perchang’s gameplay itself is pretty challenging and engaging, the beautifully crafted 3D-based environment further adds to its appeal, with the addition of some smooth animations and a brilliant color scheme.
If that doesn’t tickle your fancy, the developers have also packed in iOS ReplayKit functionality which allows players to share gameplay recordings or broadcast live games to other players and viewers.
