Price reductions and flash maybe normal on Amazon, but what isn’t normal is a sale on the company’s own Alexa-powered Echo and Tap smart-speakers. Such is the appeal and importance of those products that Amazon has never really seen the need to offer discounts on them; until now that is.
Regardless of your own opinion of Amazon as a company, it seems that there are enough people out there who love the business to thrust it into the limelight from an awards perspective. Amazon has recently been thrown into a competition with the likes of Netflix, Walt Disney Company, Samsung and Rolex where it came out to be ranked as the number one Most Reputable Company in the United States. In order to celebrate that award, the company has decided to break protocol by offering a rare discount on the excellent Alexa-enabled Amazon Echo and Amazon Tap hardware.
