This New Video Shows iPad 5 Shell, Highlighting Its New Svelte Dimensions

If the video is to be believed, then the iPad 5 will actually look similar to the currently shipping iPad mini in many regards, although it will obviously be considerably larger. Not quite as large as the iPad 4 though, as that trust tape measure shows that both the height and width of the iPad 5 are considerably reduced when compared to the currently shipping model. If the iPad 4 was just a smidge too large for you, then you might prefer what Apple will surely be announcing sometime in October.

New device leaks are becoming almost commonplace for Apple releases these days, and we knew pretty much all there was to know about the two new iPhones before they were shown off by Apple themselves. With this new video it is becoming increasingly likely that the same will happen with the company's tablet lineup which is no doubt something that will irritate those inside Cupertino.

If they sell like hotcakes though, we suspect that will help to lessen the blow of any leaks that happen!
