Although we’re always on the lookout for useful apps, it’s often nice to kick back and enjoy a little game time, particularly after a long and productive day. Recently, we’ve brought a series of great app deals on iOS and Android, and to keep things nice and balanced, we’re today sharing news of a very enjoyable, $6.99 title that has just gone free of charge over at the App Store. It has been the subject of price drops in the past, but never has it hit the magic zero-dollar mark, and below, we’ve got the low-down.
The game itself is called Skylanders Battlegrounds, and given that it’s created by Activision, of Call of Duty fame, you know you’re going to get a pretty action-packed experience. Skylanders Battlegrounds is no first-person shooter, but this action-adventure platformer is still a pretty captivating play, and with plenty of scope to upgrade weaponry and enhance the overall experience, there’s a lot of tactical fare involved in mastering this title.
Previously, Skylanders has dropped to just $2.99, which is, in itself, a great price for such a well-made and enjoyable game, but given that it’s now free, this is a title, and indeed an offer, not to be missed.
If you’re into unlocking achievements, Skylanders Battlegrounds includes a mammoth 30 in total, and provided your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch runs iOS 5.1 or higher, you should have no trouble installing this title on your device.
