This 18-Karat Gold Apple Vision Pro Is Literally Priceless

The Apple Vision Pro is already pretty expensive when you remember that it starts at $3,499, but things are about to go to a whole new level thanks to a special edition Caviar version of the headset that’s quite literally priceless.

It’s priceless because even Caviar, a company known for taking phones and blinding them out with gold and diamonds before slapping a huge price tag on them, isn’t saying.

Those who are interested in buying this thing will have to contact the company for a quote — although we’re told to expect it to cost around $40,000. And that isn’t the end of the madness.

The headset will feature 18-karat gold when it goes on sale next year and is being dubbed the Apple Vision Pro CVR Edition. The most notable part is the cover that hides the EyeSight section of the device, preventing people from seeing you while you’re doing your spatial computing.

Our mission is to turn your spatial computer into a work of designer art. We drew inspiration from the best – Tom Ford flip-up glasses and Gucci ski masks – to place the Apple Vision Pro not only at the forefront of technology but also at the pinnacle of fashion.

There’s also Rolls-Royce inspiration with the device’s new headband made from Connolly leather, the same outfit that provides leather goods to the British Royal Court and Rolls-Royce. It’s apparently soft yet durable, “ensuring the utmost comfort for the owner.”

Caviar says this special headset will be limited to just 24 pieces so make sure to make your request now if you really want one. For everyone else, $3,499 is probably enough to pay for your future computer.
