There’s Now A Service That Makes It Easy To Join Netflix Watch Parties On Apple TV

Now that we’re not visiting friends and family as much as we used to you might be looking for new ways to keep in touch. We used to sit down together and watch a TV show or movie but that just isn’t possible for a ton of people right now. Or is it?

A new app makes it easy to watch Netflix content with other people and it even works on the Apple TV.

Watch With Friends is a new app that also works on Roku, Android, and even via a Chrome Extension. That ensures that everyone can take advantage of it regardless of their preferred platform. Usage is surprisingly simple, too. Just launch the app, enter the URL of the content that you’re looking to enjoy, and that’s it. The app automatically makes sure that the TV show or movie is synced with the other people in your party as well.

Watch With Friends automatically synchronizes Netflix (additional apps coming soon) for party guests on Roku, Apple TV, and Chrome browser. Enjoy your favorite movies and shows on the biggest and best screen in the house, or you can watch along on your laptop or desktop with the Chrome extension.

Unfortunately this is limited to Netflix users in the United States right now but there’s a hope that it’ll branch out. The Chrome web extension will also spot any Apple TV or Roku kit on your network and offer to send content there. How cool is that?!

You can get your hands on Watch With Friends for free across all the usual platforms right now.
