When you make a purchase on an auction site like eBay, there's an element of trust and a great dose of user integrity involved. You buy something expecting to receive the item as described / presented, but there are always going to be issues with this format. One user discovered this in quite bizarre circumstances recently when he snapped up the apparent bargain of the century with the $450 purchase of a MacBook, only to find, upon delivery, that it was just a picture of the device. The iPhone 6 has been officially announced. The veil has been eventually lifted on the Apple Watch. Pre-orders for the jumbo-sized iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are now live in ten countries across the world - and selling out fast. It's been a busy week for Apple on all things relating to the iPhone and iOS, and it looks like the MacBook and OS X segments are about to get busy too. Remember those rumors pertaining to an ultra-slim 12-inch MacBook that surfaced earlier on this year? Well, they're back, but this time suggesting that the revolutionary MacBook could make an official appearance in mid-2015.

Oliver Haslam·May 5, 2014
When Apple quietly refreshed its MacBook Air lineup last week it not only increased the speed of its low-end model's processor from 1.3GHz to 1.4GHz. While no doubt an improvement - we're always happy to get more horsepower in our machines - possibly the most important change is the fact that the model now also comes with a price tag that's $100 lower than it was previously. If you were on the fence about picking up a MacBook Air then there's never been a better time to do just that.
