Apple’s much anticipated event today came to a close a few hours back, but left the blogosphere abuzz in its wake with news and views on all the great tech that the Cupertino-based company showcased, including OS X Mavericks, the new iPads, a fresh MacBook Pro, the behemoth that they call Mac Pro, along with software improvements like iWork and iLife. There was so much more that the event had to offer, and here, we’re going to provide a quick run down in case you missed the action earlier. The event is also available to stream online again, link for which is given at the end of this post.

Ben Reid·October 16, 2013
The iPhone launch is, for the most part, now over, and attentions have naturally turned to Apple's secondary product releases of the calendar year. The Mac Pro, which has already been officially announced, could be just a month away from release according to a report over at French Apple blog MacGeneration, which also states that both the Intel Haswell-packing MacBook Pro and new iPads will make their way to the market by the end of October.

Ben Reid·August 23, 2013
Intel's latest Haswell processors may not have increased performance a grand jot over last year's Ivy Bridge, but in terms of efficiency, the improvements are clear for all to see. With Apple's MacBook Air 2013 range already reaping the benefits with vastly increased battery life, the MacBook Pro notebook would seem next in line, and according to a report, Haswell-powered MacBook Pros will begin shipping next month.

Apple Slashes Price Of MacBook Pro With Retina Display, Updates Processors

Ben Reid·February 13, 2013
If you've had an eye on the MacBook Pro with Retina display but have been waiting for Apple to lower its price points a little, then you'll be pleased to learn that today, the day has come. By means of a press release, the Cupertino has announced a few changes to its revered notebook lineup which also sees both the 13 and 15-inch models ship with faster processors, and the 256GB SSD variant of the 13-inch MacBook Air drop to just $1,499.

13-inch MacBook Pro With Retina Display Announced: Price, Specs, And More

Awais Imran·October 23, 2012
After the critical success of the 15-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display, Apple has announced a similarly spec’d 13-inch model at their event in Cupertino, CA. It’s one hell of a portable notebook and everything about it is awesome. We’ve got the most important specifications, pricing and availability ready for you to read after the jump!

Purported Photos Of 13-inch MacBook Pro With Retina Display Leaked

Awais Imran·October 20, 2012
By now, I’m sure you’ve heard of the Apple media event set for October 23rd, invites for which were sent out four days ago. Although there is nothing in the invite image that suggests this (like it did with new iPad and iPhone 5), it is widely expected to be the event where Apple announces their entry to the small and economical tablet market that is currently dominated by the likes of Amazon’s Kindle Fire (HD) and Google’s Nexus 7.

13-inch MacBook Pro With Retina Display Will Debut At iPad Mini Event This Month

Paul Morris·October 15, 2012
As part of the next unique press event that will be organized to introduce us to the smaller mid-range iPad, Apple will also be announcing the much-anticipated 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display. The information regarding the intention to announce the new MacBook is coming directly from a well-placed source within a high profile retail outlet in the United States and is said to be consistently accurate with the information that is provided.

Production Issues Hampering Launch Of iPad Mini And 13-inch MacBook Pro With Retina Display

Paul Morris·October 12, 2012
You can bet your bottom dollar that if it was purely up to Apple then deadlines wouldn't be missed and delivery targets wouldn't go unfulfilled. You can say what you want about the Cupertino technology giants, but they are as regular as clockwork and always on top of the things that matter most. It's somewhat unfortunate that reports are suggesting that the production, announcement and launch of the company's 13-inch variant of the Retina display MacBook Pro is being delayed due to issues beyond their control.
