Despite its massive popularity and usefulness, the one area where Reddit has always lacked is the number of official mobile apps that the company offers. That is beginning to change, however, starting with the service’s official Ask Me Anything (AMA) iOS app, which caters to the iPhone needs of the service’s most popular feature, Ask Me Anything.
It's another day, and we're back with yet another healthy list of apps that have temporarily shed their price tags and have gone absolutely free for a limited time. There are six in total worth just over $30, so join us after the leap for the download links and previous prices.
It's that time again folks. Popcorn Time, a BitTorrent service / app that allows you to stream movies, was initially thought to be fraught with legal issues and general negative baggage, but having established a strong user base on Android, Mac, Windows and a number of popular platforms, an iOS version is now just days away from releasing as promised before. It's not so much a case of Popcorn Time as iPhone Time, and what's more, the app will be able to stream content directly to Google's Chromecast as well as AirPlay devices like the Apple TV.
After Yo!, the one-word app that simply let you say "Yo!" to your buddies, another developer has come through with something equally simplistic. Emojli, as you might imagine, is an IM app that only permits you to send emojis. First it was the Notification Center of iOS 5, and back in September, we finally got system-wide access to toggles with the Control Center. But the Mac maker could certainly do with adding a few more of these systems across the platform, and one third-party offering seeks to simplify the process of contacting folk and sending messages.
Earlier this month, we learned that the famed BioShock was to be released on Apple's iOS, and after a few weeks of making the final preparations, the iconic title is now ready to download for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.

Instagram may now be owned by Facebook, but the purchase hasn't stopped the team behind the famed photo-sharing app from developing a series of spin-off utilities. As well as the recent release of the Snapchat-like Bolt, which launched late last month across a few select markets, the Instagram development team has now come through with Hyperlapse, a time-lapse app designed specifically for those in ownership of the Apple iPhone and iPad. Check out the screenshots, details and download link after the break.
Google has authored a whole range of great apps across a number of platforms, and today, has rolled out a brand-new one for iOS by the name of 'Slides'. Essentially a presentation app, it's very much a PowerPoint incarnate, and as well as the roll-out of Google Slides, the Mountain View outfit has also updated Docs and Sheets - the company's answer to Word and Excel.
