New Smart Folio For M4 iPad Pro And M2 iPad Air Brings New Viewing Angles

If you’re picking up one of Apple’s new M4 iPad Pro or M2 iPad Air tablets you might also be ready to treat yourself to a new Smart Folio as well.

And if you do you can look forward to the option of more viewing angles compared to the previous iterations.

The new Smart Folios cost $79 for the 11-inch iPads and $99 for the 13-inch models with White, Black, and Denim colorways offered for those buying the iPad Pro version. Choose the iPad Air Smart Folio and you get more colors to choose from including Light Violet, Charcoal Gray, Sage, and Denim.

While Apple didn’t make a big thing about the new Smart Folios during the event, instead choosing to focus on the new iPad Pro Magic Keyboard, its accessories page does report that the new Smart Folio cases for the M2 iPad Air and the M4 iPad Pro support new viewing angles.

The Smart Folio for iPad Air (M2) supports a wider range of viewing angles for reading, viewing, typing, or making FaceTime calls. It automatically wakes your iPad Air when opened and puts it to sleep when closed. Thin and light, it protects the front and back of iPad Air.

The Smart Folio is a great way to keep the front of the iPad scratch-free when not in use while also giving you a way to prop your tablet up when it’s ready to be used.

It’s particularly useful for things like watching content, but it can also be handy when taking notes or drawing using the Apple Pencil, too.

The new accessories and updated iPad Pro and iPad Air are all available for order today and will start shipping next week.
