NCAA March Madness Live Gains Apple Vision Pro And Improved CarPlay Support

Ahead of the NCAA March Madness getting started later this week the NCAA March Madness Live app has been updated to add a number of new features, not least support for the latest product out of Apple Park — the Apple Vision Pro.

The new update, which is available for download now, adds support for the Apple Vision Pro but it isn’t actually a visionOS app.

Instead, this is just the iPad app that’s been allowed to run on the Apple Vision Pro which is a little bit of a shame. The same app can also be used on Macs running Apple silicon inside, too.

The new update also adds additional support for those who use CarPlay, too.

For fans on-the-go, NCAA March Madness Live will keep them in the know with expanded live game radio for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Live radio broadcasts are courtesy of Westwood One for all 67 games.

The app already supported Live Activities for use on the iPhone’s Lock Screen but 9to5Mac notes that it now also supports a live scoreboard feature that “will offer fans a way to follow scores when multiple games are being played.”

The update is available for download from the App Store now while those who have automatic updates enabled might already have it installed.
