iPhone 12 Jailbreak For iOS 14.3 Teased

A new jailbreak has been teased with support for iOS 14 through iOS 14.3 with support for the latest round of iPhones included.

In fact, unc0ver developer Pwn20wnd even teased that he was running a version of Cydia via an unreleased jailbreak on an iPhone 12 Pro Max.

Also notable is the fact that this unreleased jailbreak is said to include support for all iPhones and iPads, meaning anything currently on sale from an Apple Store can be jailbroken. That’s a big deal indeed, as reported by iPhone Hacks,

Additionally, he also revealed that the upcoming iOS 14 – iOS 14.3 Unc0ver jailbreak will support system-wide tweak injection on A14 devices like the iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPad Air. For the jailbreak, Pwn20wnd wrote their “own exploit based on CVE-2021-1782” for achieving “optimal exploit speed and stability.” The jailbreak is based on the same exploit that was discovered by @ModernPwner.

The ability to jailbreak new devices is important. Previous support for iOS 14.3 topped out at the iPhone 6s and iPhone 7, meaning those with newer devices were out of luck.

That seems to be closer than ever to changing although there is currently no indication when we can expect this jailbreak to be released. However, CoolStar from the Odyssey jailbreak team have confirmed that they are also working on a  similar jailbreak.
