Microsoft has just released the Release Candidate version of Visual Studio 2010 for public download. You can now download and try out Visual Studio 2010 RC and .NET Framework 4 RC before the final version which is due to hit retail in this first quarter of 2010.
Visual Studio 2010 is a monstrous and the most awaited release which is surely set to have a big impact on Microsoft platform developers in a positive way! The Release Candidate bits released today are available in following SKU’s:
- Visual Studio 2010 Ultimate
- Visual Studio 2010 Premium
- Visual Studio 2010 Professional
Visual Studio 2010 Beta 2 along with .NET Framework 4 Beta 2 was released back in October 2009. Beta 1 bits along with .NET Framework 4 Beta 1 were released earlier in May last year. Visual Studio 2010 is expected to RTM on 22nd March 2010.
