Download TaiG 2.3.0 Jailbreak With Bundled Cydia 1.1.19 And More

TaiG has just pushed out a new update to both their iOS 8.4 jailbreak tool and untether package available on Cydia.

Now up to version 2.3.0, this update brings the recently released Cydia 1.1.19 bundled as part of initial jailbreak, as well as removes setreuid patch which is no longer needed now after Cydia’s 1.1.19’s ability to always run as “mobile” instead of “root”.

Here’s the official changelog:

Integrates Cydia 1.1.19, which is perfectly compatible of iOS 8.3-8.4; removes setreuid patch.

TaiG 2.3.0

Like always, if you are going to jailbreak iOS 8.4 on a non-jailbroken device, use TaiG 2.3.0 from here onwards. Those who are already jailbroken using either v2.2.0 or v2.2.1 don’t need to jailbreak again as an update is available on Cydia for upgrading existing jailbroken devices on iOS 8.4 to version 2.3.0.

Since the update for existing jailbroken devices is available on Cydia’s default Telesphoreo repo, you don’t need to add any other repositories or sources. Simply launch Cydia and let it load everything.Once loaded, search for TaiG 8.1.3-8.x Untether and update to the latest 2.3 version, as shown in the screenshot below.

Those who are looking to jailbreak their devices for the first time can download TaiG 2.3.0 TaiGJBreak_EN_2300.zip for Windows from here, and then can follow our step-by-step tutorials on how to jailbreak iOS 8.4 on PC or Mac (using virtual machine method):
