We just reported that Apple's WWDC 2011 is speculated to be hosted from 5th to 9th June. The report has been based on educated guesses by looking at the Apple's events schedule. Since the WWDC lasts at least a few days, June 5th-9th seemed the only possible slot.
FaceTime for iPad is probably one of the most missed features by the iPhone/iPod users. It certainly would have been a better experience if the iPad offered a front-facing camera and FaceTime. That because of the user-experience that the 10" screen provides over the the iPhone's 3.5".
I've said before now that we are firmly into 'silly season'. With both iPhone and iPad updates expected to be announced in the coming months, this is the time we start to get all those juicy rumors about specifications, prices and possible release dates. The lovely guys over at iLounge are citing a source in the know and sharing some interesting iPad 2 tidbits this evening, ranging from a new iPad construction to a 7" device being on the horizon.
According to a report by MacStories, Apple could possibly be releasing another major iOS update on 14th of Feb. The iOS version to be released will be 4.3 which will also include potential fixes of several bugs and improved support for AirPlay.
We're firmly in rumor territory now, and MacRumors has managed to piece a few tidbits together that certainly seem to point towards iOS 4.3 being released to the public on February 13th, along with a possible iPad 2 announcement.
Members of Chronic Dev Team have just confirmed that the upcoming GreenPois0n RC5 untethered jailbreak for iOS 4.2.1 will support animated custom boot logo on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. Video after the break.
News Corp. along with the Apple announced their interactive papers for iPad today at 11 a.m EST. The app has been made available for download soon after the event ended.
