Crazy Taxi: City Rush For iOS Released; Crazier Than Ever Before [Download Link]

Ben Reid·July 31, 2014
Even though SEGA focuses its attention on the games as opposed to the hardware nowadays, the company's Dreamcast console lives fondly in the memory of those who had the pleasure of playing it. One of the most popular titles to land on SEGA's last major console effort was Crazy Taxi, which tasked the player to pick up as many fares as they could within a set time while also pulling off various stunts. Like many games of times passed, Crazy Taxi has since been ported through to mobile devices, and after a successful run-out, Crazy Taxi: City Rush is now available to those rocking an iPhone or iPad.

Ben Reid·July 26, 2014
Along with the many, many enjoyable new titles that manifest themselves over at the different app stores on a daily basis, developers have sought to appeal to nostalgic gamers with a series of remakes, spin-offs and ports of those older, yet still much-loved classics. The King of Fighters '98 is one such title, and in case you hadn't already guessed, has just been released for those rocking an iOS on an Android device. Oliver Haslam·July 25, 2014
Destiny, the new game by the people behind Halo, Bungie, is currently in the midst of a public beta. The early version that is currently playable lets gamers create their own character and then go on some multiplayer killing sprees against not just computer-controlled AI, but also other gamers. Until now, the beta has been of the closed variety but now it's open to just about anyone, so no invite code is required.

Game of Thrones Ascent Launches On iPhone And Android, Download It From Here!

Ben Reid·July 18, 2014
As TV shows go, Game of Thrones is among the most popular, and given that most movies and series spawn games to supplement the experience, it was only a matter of time before a Game of Thrones title emerged. Today, the time has come for Game of Thrones Ascent to make its grand introduction at the Google Play Store and Apple's iTunes Store for Android and iPhone respectively, and if you're captivated by the show, you'll almost certainly want to check this one out.

Flappy Bird Now Available For Apple II, Here’s What The Gameplay Looks Like [VIDEO]

Ben Reid·July 17, 2014
Even though developer Dong Nguyen pulled his immensely popular Flappy Bird game from the App Store and Google Play Store earlier on this year, the cult following it garnered has since spawned various tribute acts and spin-offs. But while most of these clones have been pushed out by opportunistic developers looking to cash in on the title's success, one Apple enthusiast has come through with a port for the Apple II, and surprisingly, it works like a charm. Having released a clip of his creation, aptly named Flapple Bird, in action, he seems to have replicated the graphics and gameplay down to a fine art, and as I think you'll agree once you see the clip, the result is simply awesome.

FIFA 15 Cover Revealed, Lionel Messi Is The Face Of It, Here’s What It Looks Like

Ben Reid·July 16, 2014
The World Cup may have come to a close over the weekend after what has been, by all accounts, an epic tournament, but for football / soccer fans, it was only a precursor to the season upcoming. We're approaching that time of the year when, for Europe and many other parts of the world, the games are about to commence, and on cue, the launch of the new FIFA title. Lionel Messi, Argentina's talisman, may have just missed out on the sport's most coveted prize, but he can take some solace in the fact that as well as scooping the official award for best player, he's also the face of FIFA 15.

GTA 5 For PC Release Date Seemingly Confirmed By Online Retailer

Ben Reid·July 15, 2014
During the course of the past few years, the gaming industry's sales charts have been dominated by Activision's Call of Duty franchise, but last year, things changed. Not only did Grand Theft Auto 5 blow CoD: Ghosts out of the water, but its monumental success saw it break several Guinness World Records, and even though Rockstar Games' most celebrated release is now effectively done and dusted, there's still the small matter of the next-gen release. In retailing the original GTA 5 just two months before the arrival of the PS4 and Xbox One, Rockstar knew that it could further monetize with an up-scaled version for the newer consoles as well as the PC, and while the official announcements of these upcoming editions have just been made, we may now also have a firm date.

GTA 5 For PS4, Xbox One, PC Detailed, Here’s What Is New!

Ben Reid·July 8, 2014
After the monumental success of Grand Theft Auto 5, you could forgive Rockstar Games for taking its foot off the gas somewhat and merely enjoying the moment, but then again, we know just by playing the immensely enjoyable title that Rockstar is a company that simply doesn't, by nature, rest on its laurels. Having remained fairly coy with regards to an upgraded, tweaked, and generally better version of GTA 5 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and the PC, the company has now put the doubts to rest by making it official, and as you might expect, the gaming world has dived straight in to try and gather as many details as possible.

Nissan Brings Gran Turismo 6 Concept Car To Life! [Photos]

Paul Morris·July 5, 2014
Imagine the joy and unlimited amount of fun that comes attached to working for a company with the resources to not only research, but to design and develop pretty much whatever it wants? Apple, Google and Microsoft, amongst others, find themselves in that privileged position within the consumer technology industry, but it appears that Nissan is also living that dream if the recent Goodwood Festival of Speed showcase is anything to go by. Rather than go through the usual processes of designing and building a concept vehicle, Nissan has used the Gran Turismo 6 video game to tease petrol-heads with a new downloadable GT-R prototype, and then built it in real life.
