Apple CEO is going on a "medical leave of absence”. In his absence, Apple COO Tim Cook will take over company’s day-to-day operations. Steve Jobs though will remain as the CEO of the company.
Apple has approached the federal government to help stop hackers from jailbreaking the iPhone, reports NBC.

An unofficial version of PwnageTool has just been released which allows you to jailbreak the recently released iOS 4.3 beta firmware. Currently, the jailbreak is supported on iPhone 4 only. Support for other devices will follow soon.
As we reported before, iOS 4.3 Beta has added several multi-touch gestures for the iPad. This feature is not enabled by default, and thus needs to be enabled manually. As this is a Beta version of iOS 4.3, this specific feature needs to be enabled via Xcode on you Mac.
Well, well, well, what do we have here… According to sources at BGR, Apple is going to drop home button on both the iPad 2 and iPhone 5. You will be controlling your next-gen iPhone or iPad using multi-touch gestures which has been introduced with iOS 4.3 for iPad.
iOS 4.3 was released earlier today for iPhone 4, 3GS, iPad, iPod touch 4G, 3G and Apple TV. So if you upgraded to iOS 4.3 beta, and now you want to downgrade back to iOS 4.2.1 or 4.1, follow the instructions posted below to downgrade iOS 4.3 on iPhone 4, 3GS, iPod touch and iPad to iOS 4.2.1, 4.1, 4.0.x.

The same source who earlier provided us with screenshots of iOS 4.3 with “Personal Hotspot” feature for GSM iPhones has now dropped another screenshot, this time of About screen, which shows iOS 4.3 Build 8F5148b running on a GSM iPhone 4.
