Over the last few weeks, it has become clear that Apple has already begun working on a new iPad, presumably to succeed the 6-month-old iPad 2. According to a report, the company's suppliers will begin assembling it in small quantities, presumably for testing purposes: all of them, except Samsung.

This week has been a crazy for Apple; with the resignation of Steve Jobs as CEO a couple of days ago, many have wondered whether Apple would continue to innovate. Fear not, according to a report, the Cupertino company is said to be working on a new way to deliver video to TV screens.
Those familiar with the iOS jailbreaking world are probably aware of Nicholas Allegra, commonly known as Comex, the author of the incredibly popular jailbreaking tool JailbreakMe. Now, he revealed in a tweet that he will be working as an internee at the company whose devices he loves hacking; Apple!
A few days ago, more rumors of a lower-end iPhone 4 to be sold along with the upcoming iPhone 5 emerged, perhaps to replace the aging iPhone 3GS. While not much is known about the future handset, parts of the casing have leaked that suggest that the iPhone 4S, as it's known as, will indeed be very similar to the iPhone 4 despite a few minor changes.
Yesterday, both investors and the Apple community was taken by shock when Steve Jobs unexpectedly announced that he would be stepping down from Apple after 14 straight years as CEO. Tim Cook, who was previously the company's Chief Operating Officer, took his place. His first order of business? Send all Apple employees an email promising not to change Apple's current philosophy.
In a month many had predicted to be dominated by news about the iPhone 5 and OS X Lion, Apple's board of directors has unexpectedly announced that Steve Jobs has stepped down from Apple as CEO and will be replaced by Tim Cook, Apple's current COO. Meanwhile, Jobs will be the chairman of the board.
Just yesterday, it became known that the iPhone 5 could be heading to Sprint, only leaving T-Mobile as the only major US carrier not to carry the iPhone. According to a source, however, T-Mobile might also be getting the iPhone 5 sooner than later, making the handset to be available on every carrier in the United States.
Currently, moving files around using Windows can be a rather painful experience, especially when merging folders or handling duplicates. Microsoft is working hard to fix all of that with Windows 8, at least according to a blog post on the company's brand-new Building Windows 8 blog.
Most OS X Lion users would already know; Apple released the 10.7.1 update for the said operating system one week ago, which contained general bug fixes and performance improvements. Now, Apple is making sure all new Lion users immediately get the updated operating system by updating its installer on the Mac App Store.
At this point, it should be no secret that Apple will soon be coming out with a new iPhone, known in the Apple community as the iPhone 5. Credible evidence now suggests that the next iPhone will be world phone, supporting both GSM and CDMA bands.
