Apple’s New 2013 Mac Pro Set For December 16th Release, According To German Retailer

The stunning new Mac Pro is set for a December 16th launch according to Germany based Conrad Electronics. The extremely powerful and redesigned Pro has caused something of a stir after it was initially teased during this year’s Worldwide Developer Conference. Apple provided us with more intricate details of the machine during a recent media event that also welcomed the official release of OS X Mavericks, but stopped short of actually providing power-hungry technology aficionados with an official release date for the professional desktop computer.

The potential December 16th availability of the machine will undoubtedly peak the interest of a long list of industry professionals who have been waiting patiently for the new Mac Pro. The revolutionary new design of the computer is more than likely enough to intrigue consumers looking for a powerful option, but the configurable technical specifications confirm that the hardware is here to revolutionize the professional desktop space.

Apple’s official website currently shows the Mac Pro as shipping sometime in December. The Cupertino based company haven’t felt the need to elaborate on a more granular date as of yet, but interestingly hasn’t released any official statement to deny the December 16th rumor.

Considering we are right in the middle of the festive shopping season, it makes perfect sense to assume that Apple would like to get the machine onto the shelves of online and physical stores before Christmas.

Those interested in the gorgeous new Mac Pro will be able to choose between a quad-core  3.7 GHz Intel Xeon E5 processor or a 6-core option with a 3.5 GHz Intel Xeon E5 processor that benefits from a turbo boost up to 3.9 GHz. Both options are configurable to allow up to 64GB of RAM to be included and come with Dual AMD FirePro graphics processors (either the D300 or D500 depending on the chosen specification). The Mac Pro has support for three connected 4K displays at any given time, with the option of including a 1TB flash-based hard disc.
