Apple’s iOS 19 And visionOS 3 Tipped For Big New Features Later This Year

If Apple sticks to its tried and tested release schedule we can expect that it will announce new software for its platforms in June and then release them in September.

And now a new report suggests we should expect big things from iOS 19 and visionOS 3.

According to the well-connected Mark Gurman, writing for Bloomberg, the iOS 19 software update is set to bring some new improvements to existing Apple Intelligence features.

The Apple Intelligence launch has so far been problematic, with poor performance and accuracy issues plaguing iPhone users. Now, Gurman believes that iOS 19 will improve upon that, but it’s unclear exactly how that will happen.

The new visionOS 3 software will be the next big Apple Vision Pro software update with Gurman believing that it will be “feature-packed,” but he stopped short of giving any specific details as to what features will be added.

As ever though, it’s important to remember that Apple is still a long way from releasing either iOS 19 or visionOS 3, so the company’s plans could change before that happens.

Before that, the WWDC event is expected to take place in June which should see Apple unveil and preview all of its new software refreshes. We also expect that they will be made available to developers in beta form at the same event, too.
