Apple Releases Beta 3 Of iOS 26.5, iPadOS 26.5, macOS 26.5, tvOS 26.5, visionOS 26.5, watchOS 26.5

Apple has released for download beta 3 of iOS 26.5 alongside beta 3 of iPadOS 26.5, macOS 26.5, tvOS 26.5, watchOS 26.5 and visionOS 26.5.

The aforementioned release comes a week after beta 2 was seeded and is currently available to download for members of Apple Developer Program portal.

As for what’s new in this release, when it comes to iOS and iPadOS, Apple has added a stock Maps app Suggested Places feature for recommending locations to visit nearby based on trends and user recents. Apple is also laying groundwork for introducing suggested ads in its stock Maps app. In addition to this, Apple is working on enhancing end-to-end encryption when it comes to RCS messaging between iPhone and Android users.

Last but not least, In the EU, Apple is forced to add proximity pairing, notification forwarding and Live Activities features for third-party wearables like smartwatch and airbuds just like it now has for its own Apple Watch and AirPods.

There are two ways to download the above releases. First is to head over to Settings > General > Software Update section of the device itself and grabbing the OTA update for your device from there.

Second way to is to head over to developer.apple.com and grabbing the firmware file from there and then installing it on your device using a Mac or Windows PC.

Apple is expected to release beta 3 to public testers sometime later in the week.
