iOS 27 Update To Bring New Camera App, Updated Weather, and More

Apple is expected to announce its new iOS 27 software update in June, and a new report has detailed what it will bring to Apple’s most important product.

According to a Bloomberg report, users will be able to change the way the Camera app works as well as enjoy an updated Weather app, and more.

Starting with Camera, users will have new options to customize the app to include the features they use the most. Camera controls, which are being called widgets, can be moved around the Camera app as part of the iOS 27 refresh.

Apple is also thought to be working on an updated Weather app that will include a new Conditions section that will surface temperature. rain, and wind data for the chosen location.

Moving to Apple’s Safari web browser, it’s reported that the app will sport four tabs across the top of the screen for switching between bookmarks, history, favorites, and the reading list.

Other changes are expected to come to a wider collection of iOS 27’s apps, including a tab bar update to combine search and other navigation components in the Music, Podcasts, News, and TV apps.

Finally, Apple is also thought to have updated the animation that appears when users tap a key on the iPhone’s keyboard. With iOS 27, the animation will show the keys slide up from the bottom of the iPhone.

Apple is expected to announce the iOS 27 update at WWDC on June 8 before making the update available to developers for beta testing. It’ll then be made available to the public this fall.
