Alongside iOS 26.2.1, Apple has also released for download watchOS 26.2.1 as well as iPadOS 26.2.1 for compatible Apple Watch and iPad models.
The release comes following Apple’s launch of 2nd-generation AirTag which brings with it improvements such as better Precision Finding and more.
watchOS 26.2.1 brings with it support for second-generation Ultra Wideband chip Precision Finding feature for AirTag 2 on compatible Apple Watch models. The compatible Apple Watch models for this feature includes Apple Watch Series 9 and later and Apple Watch Ultra 2 and later. According to Apple’s release notes, watchOS 26.2.1 also includes unspecified bug fixes.
As for iPadOS 26.2.1, Apple just says that it includes unspecified bug fixes, according to the official release notes published by the company.
You can head over to Settings > General > Software Update section of the device itself to grab the OTA update on both your Apple Watch and iPad.
Alongside the aforementioned iPadOS 26.2.1 and watchOS 26.2.1, Apple has also released iOS 26.2.1 (as mentioned earlier), as well as iOS 18.7.4, iOS 16.7.13, iOS 15.8.6, and iOS 12.5.8 for older iPhone models which are not compatible with iOS 26.
